Guided tour of Pigalle's homosexually oriented bars and cabarets (1890-1950). Around Boulevard de Clichy, during the Belle Époque and the interwar period, bar owners and cabaret artists created a nocturnal center for sexual and gender minorities. Pigalle became the matrix of homosexual, lesbian and queer subcultures. Walking between these places, now vanished or still there, the tour unfolds as a gallery of portraits.
