The Cities of Nantes and Niigata, twinned since 2009, have carried out numerous projects around dance, notably as part of the Soh Odori large festival. The festival welcomes 13,000 dancers and 250,000 spectators each year. In 2025 and 2026, 45 Nantais and Nantaises, professional and amateur musicians and dancers, participated. The two Cities offer the public an afternoon dedicated to these projects.
